Hikers stopped by at our annual picnic held at Smith Roach Gap in Shenandoah National Park to enjoy some food and relaxation on a beautiful summer day.
Here I am with my hubby, Steve "Papa Bliss" as we served up food. A good many hikers stayed with us all afternoon. One said it was like a Sunday to her, and that meant a lot to us! We enjoy hosting this event every year for the hikers and seeing who is out this year on the trail. And one never knows when our paths might cross again and what friendships we will kindle.
